ROBERT "ROB" J.
Age 22, sadly taken on February 24, 2015, doing what he loved, skiing the mountains of Utah. Born on May 4, 1992, Rob was the beloved son of Melissa (Perri) Potter and Robert Potter of Greensburg; extraordinary brother of Madeline and Billy Potter of Greensburg and Brandi Berquist of Texas; beloved grandson of Sam and Mary Carole Perri of Florida, and Doris Potter and the late William Potter of Irwin; cherished nephew of Peggy and the late Lloyd Martin of Murrysville, Kim and Manny Rojas of Oakdale, Felice Perri of Florida, Samuel and Rosa Perri of Pittsburgh, Scott and Cathy Perri of Minnesota, Patty and Howard Katz of New York, Melissa and Bob Gans of California; numerous cousins forever remember him as the jovial life of the party. Rob was a 2011 graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic HS, and went on to study fine arts at California University of Pennsylvania. An avid outdoorsman, Rob currently was employed at Canyons Resort in Park City, UT. He also worked as a white water guide in Ohiopyle and was a mountain ambassador at Seven Springs Resort. Rob was at his happiest surrounded by friends, family and the outdoors. He played hockey, soccer and was a member of the fly fishing club at GCC. Rob began skiing at age two and this winter was "the happiest he ever was, skiing in Utah." Robert was welcomed into Heaven by his grandfather, William Potter, Aunt Norma Zielinski and Uncle Lloyd Martin. Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 521 Main St., Irwin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 87 Sixth St., Herminie. Those attending Mass, please go directly to the church.
