PURVIS Robert Thomas April 19, 1917 - July 4, 2009 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bob who passed peacefully in his sleep after a very brief illness. He was predeceased by his sister Ruth, brothers John and David. He will be lovingly remembered by his cherished wife of 70 years Dorothy (Last). 3 children Rodney (Brenda), Geoffrey (Marlene), Betty Reid. 6 grandchildren Cindi (Reid) Williams (Brian) Gordon Reid, Kurtis Reid (Raven), Robert Purvis, Stephanie Purvis, James Purvis and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Robert was a 30 year employee of Woodward's and was a little league coach in North Burnaby for many years. He enjoyed curling and golfing with his friends. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour, his warm friendly manner and his dedication to his family. Forever loved by family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009, 2:00 to 5:00 pm at 7020 Buchanan Street, Burnaby, BC V5A 1M7.

sorry to hear about Bob he will meet up with all the old truck drivers from Woodwards like Ralph Ballam Cliff Gamble Fred Clark and others everytime he came into the Time Office he always asked for me as I did his pay up Handsome fellow he was Yours truly Faye Kemp
