ROBERT J. QUINN

Quinn, Robert J. Age 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by the comfort of his loving family on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Newton Wellesley Alzheimer's Center. He was the son of the late Joseph and Louise (Comey) Quinn. Bob was born in Attleboro on December 21, 1947. He was raised in North Attleboro and was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School. He was also a graduate of Dean Junior College in Franklin and Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. Bob married Mary (Piecewicz) Quinn (Salem, MA) and together settled in Foxborough thirty years ago. Bob taught art in Framingham. He worked for Josten's Inc. College Division in MA and RI for over twenty years and achieved every sales award possible. He also was a former manager for the rock band "Celebration" during the 60's and 70's. An active and involved father, Bob coached Little League, was a member of the Foxborough Music Assoc. and Lacrosse Boosters Club and was in several father and daughter dances at O'Brien School of Dance. Bob was a former member of the Stadium Advisory Committee and was a member of the Foxborough County Club. He partook in drug trials for Alzheimer's Disease. He was a good guy with a big heart, who loved to be surrounded by family and friends. He was passionate about coffee heath bar frozen yogurt, playing golf, vacationing in Stowe, VT, and loved a good joke. Beloved husband of 35 years of Mary L. (Piecewicz) Quinn. Loving father of Ryan Quinn and his wife Yvonne and their son Dylan of Mansfield and Shanghai, China, Lauren Hollingshead (Quinn) and her husband Matthew of Hull and Brendan Quinn and soon-to-be-daughter-in-law Brittney LaHood of Plainville. Brother of the late Ronald Quinn and Beverly Rose. Services are private and under the care of the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, Foxborough, MA.
