Maynardville, TN
Robert Manson "Sonny" Reeser, III- age 65 of Maynardville, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 20, 2017. Robert was the proud owner and operator of Sonny's Auto Sales for 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and son.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert Manson Reeser, II; and brother, David Douglas Reeser. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gladys Louise Reeser; daughters, Barbara King, Kim Allen and Robin Siemans; sons, Robert "Spanky" Reeser, George "Pete" King and Jimmy Warren; mother, Stella Miller Weaver; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; sister, Betty (Calvin) Smith; brothers, Mike (Kim) Reeser, Larry Reeser, Gary (Ruth) Reeser and Eddie (Melissa) Jones; several nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will immediately follow with Reverend Charlie Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville at 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017 for a 1:00 p.m. interment service. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Chris Clendenen, Brandon Clendenen, Philip Clendenen, Paul Beaty, Michael Julian and Dylan Reeser.
