Robert Clinton Reeves

Robert Clinton Reeves, Jr., of Houston, passed away peacefully at his home on June 27, 2025, at the age of 65.

Robert was born on June 11, 1960, in Houston, Texas. He graduated in 1978 from Aldine High School in Houston. He married his wife, Brenda, on December 19, 1982, and opened his arms to her two children, Robert and Susan Michelle. They loved him as their own father, and he loved them as his own. Brenda and Robert added to their family with Erica and Thomas, whom they loved dearly. He and Brenda also welcomed Racheal, Cliff, and Elise to their family, lovingly referring to them as their chosen children. Later in life, he experienced the love of having grandchildren. He had a total of 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Robert attended the University of Houston - Downtown and received his Bachelor's of Business in 1985. He later earned a Bachelor's of Education and Master's of Education from the University of Houston-Victoria. Robert pursued many career paths throughout his life, but his favorite career was always his time at Giddings ISD as a special education teacher. He truly cherished the time he spent there and the connections that he made during his time as a life skills teacher. After retiring, Robert began volunteering with Forester's Financial as a Branch Councillor. He enjoyed being part of this organization's philanthropy and was truly a generous man. He would have given his last nickel to anyone who truly needed it, believing that there was always someone who needed it more than he did.

Robert lived life to the fullest, and he was happiest when spending time with his family. He loved going to the gun range with his grandchildren any chance he got. He always had a cigar and a story to share, even with a stranger. Robert also enjoyed taking his wife on vacations and was always looking for a new adventure to share with her. Other than his children and grandchildren, Robert was proudest of his sobriety and has been sober since 2014.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister, Rhonda, his brother, Hal, and his son, Rob. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, their children, Susan Michelle, Erica, & Thomas, their chosen children, Racheal, Cliffton, & Elise, his daughter-in-law, Candace, his grandchildren, Absalom, Eddie and wife Brianna, Arik, Antonio, Arrianna, Nick, Braelynn, Brynlee, Brycen, & Hallie, and his great-grandchildren, Afraya & Ariel.
