Liebe Tante Gertrud,
wir sind in Gedanken bei Dir, Kristian, Nicole und Monika, wir drücken Euch ganz fest. Der Tod von Bob war so plötzlich und hat uns sehr traurig gemacht.
Wenn ich an die Tage in NY bei Euch denke, werde ich immer auch an Bob denken, wie er z.B. am Grill stand, wir auf der schönen Veranda saen und die Zeit genossen haben. Ich habe mich immer sehr wohl gefühlt bei Euch, auch wegen Bob... Die gemeinsame Zeit, wenn auch leider nur wenige Tage, ist so wertvoll. Gerne werde ich mich immer wieder daran erinnern.
Wir wünschen Dir und Deiner ganzen Familie die Kraft nach vorne zu schauen und sich an das Vergangene immer wieder zu erinnern. Wir werden Bob mit seiner groen Güte und Herzlichkeit in Erinnerung bewahren, ich habe ihn sehr gemocht.

Aunt Gertrud,
David and I were so sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's death. I truly wish I could be with you all on Friday, but we will make a donation as requested instead of sending flowers.
You and the rest of the family are in our prayers. I hope you are as well as you can be, given the circumstances.
I have fond memories of the family get-togethers on the Sunday after Christmas when I was a child. I was so grateful that you both were able to come to Front Royal when Dad died.

Dear Reninger Family,
So sorry to read about Bob's passing. I have very fond memories of visiting your home and celebrating many holidays together. He was always so kind and helpful to our family. I still live in Texas and would be at the service if I didn't live so far away. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
May the pain of your loss fade quickly but the memories that we all shared with Bob remain in our hearts forever.

Liebe Gertrud,lieber Christian, liebe Nicole, liebe Monika,
wir waren alle zu tiefst betroffen und sehr, sehr traurig, als wir vom Tod Bob's erfahren haben. In den Zeiten, in denen wir ihn bei den Besuchen in Deutschland getroffen und gesprochen haben, erlebten wir ihn als einen ueberaus freundlichen und zugewandten Menschen. Er freute sich immer, wenn Besuch aus Deutschland kam und nahm alle in sein Haus auf. Wir werden ihn, auch wenn wir ihn nicht so haeufig sehen konnten, doch sehr vermissen.
Augustinus sagt:
Aus Gottes Hand empfing ich mein Leben, unter Gottes Hand gestaltete ich mein Leben, in Gottes Hand gebe ich mein Leben zurueck.
Ihr, die mich so geliebt habt, seht nicht auf das Leben, das ich beendet habe, sondern auf das, welches ich beginne.
In diesem Sinne wird uns Onkel Bob immer im Gedaechnis bleiben. Wir hoffen, dass Ihr als Familie, die nunmehr erste schwere Zeit ohne ihn bewaeltigt und irgendwann eine neue und andere Normalitaet im Alltag findet.
Wir denken und trauern mit euch.
