Robert "Rob" Pluta Obituary
Mr. Pluta, son of the late Jean Frances Graham Pluta and Robert John Pluta, was born in South Plainfield, New Jersey. He was an audiologist and a retired Major from the U. S. Air Force after twenty years of service. He was the father of the late Robert "Bobby" Neal Pluta and was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy A. Peterson and James A. Peterson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lillian Kay Peterson Pluta of Corpus Christi, TX; his son, Kristofer "Kip" Ian Pluta of Corpus Christi; his father, Richard John Pluta; his sister, Diane (Jonathan) Pluta Loomis; his sister-in-law, Sue Ann Smith of Macon and brother-in-law, Ed Peterson of Macon.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.

Kay, I googled your name today to find your address. I was shocked to find that you lost your husband and your son at the same time. I am soooo sorry. If I had known sooner, you would have heard from me before now. You and your family are in my prayers, and I pray that God blesses you with the peace that passes all understanding.

I just learned of a gifted 6th grade musician in my area by the last name of Pluta and remembered Bob from way back when we worked together at SAGA washing dishes at Wheaton College. Curiosity led me to search his name and I learned of his untimely passing. How very sad. I remember Bob as a caring, gentle, and kind young man who was a gifted clarinetist. He had that infectious smile. When I just saw his picture I knew immediately it was him from the smile. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
