Miami - Robert Neil Sadler Jr. passed away on August 26, 2025 in Miami, Florida. Known to family and friends as "Bobby", he was born on July 17, 1950 in Beaufort, South Carolina to Jane Layton Sadler and Robert Neil Sadler who are now deceased. He was also predeceased by his stepmother Ellen Harwell Sadler.

Bobby is survived by his sisters Sue Sadler Reinhardt (Keith); Jane Sadler Greenway; brother-in-law Michael Greenway; step-brothers Sam Harwell IV (Beth), Russell Harwell (Liz), and Jim Harwell.

Bobby loved and was loved in return by his many nieces and nephews including Anna Greenway Thacker (Dustin); Kaitlin Reinhardt Butcher (Shawn); Neil Reinhardt (Janie); Kathleen Greenway Kelley (Will); Libby Harwell Mecklenborg (Ben); Allie Harwell Difilippo (Ben); Fred Harwell (Katherine); Sam Harwell V; George Harwell (Mattern); and Tucker Harwell.

An honor student, gifted athlete, and talented artist, Bobby attended Montgomery Bell Academy where he excelled in academics and sports. As a member of the 1968 graduating class, he was honored as a senior letterman in varsity football, basketball, and baseball. He attended college at Duke University in Durham , North Carolina where he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. Upon graduation, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine Degree in Memphis at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. After completing his residency at East Tennessee State University College of Medicine, he returned home to Nashville where he lived and cared for others during the next 35 years. He later moved to Miami, Florida where he resided until his passing.

As both "Bobby" and "Uncle Bobby", he meant the world to so many. He was an incredible son, brother, uncle, and friend. He loved his Country and ALL sports, especially Vanderbilt football. One of his greatest pleasures was watching his nieces and nephews compete in the sports arena or perform in dance on stage. He was their greatest fan!

Bobby's patience, knowledge, and desire to help others enabled him to be the perfect caretaker that he was to so many. His kindness, wisdom, incredible wit, and loveable sense of humor touched, in a positive and unforgettable way, the lives of those who knew him.
