Father Shank -as we knew him- played a large roll in our family's growth in Christ while he served in St. John's Episcopal Church in Plymouth, MI. He groomed both my brother and I to become Acolytes in the service of the church in our early years. He presided over my older sister's wedding and years later presided over my younger sister's wedding. And, when I returned from Vietnam he presided over my wedding. He was a regular guest at our house with our family sharing his wit and humor, his Love, and his infectious smile and laughter. I realize my entry here is extremely late, but I was thinking about Father Shank and was impelled to share my memories of a man who kept us in-line with our Lord Jesus Christ. We look forward to seeing him again.

I first met Bob in Mexico City when he led a course on the Enneagram. He was a wonderful, loving priest and friend. He will be greatly missed by all of us who were influenced in such a positive way by his teaching and friendship.

Bob was a wonderful, talented person. He was my date for the senior prom in both Apple Creek and Orrville. My first roller coaster ride was with him at Meyer's Lake in Canton. Your parents would have been so
proud of your extraordinary life. God bless.
