My Love and Prayers are with you Shirley and the Smith Family. Ted was one of the most humble and God fearing men I know. He always had kind and loving words and encouragement. We will miss him. May God grant you comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Uncle Ted was one of a kind. The only word my husband Robert and I can think of he was one of my very very favorite special Uncle's. LOVE FOREVER.

Uncle Ted was one of my favorite uncles, and I have fond memories of my sister and I spending time as kids with Aunt Shirley and Uncle Ted in Houston. He was career Air Force, and one of the finest military men I've ever known, served his country and God's grace is with him always. I will dearly miss his sweet smile and caring heart. Bye, Uncle Ted, I'll see you in heaven, with Mother and Daddy who loved you so much. Love your niece, Linda Mayfield, Austin, TX.

Ted was one of my favorite people in the whole world...and the world's going to be a different place without him. RIP, my friend.
