SMITH, Robert "Bob" With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bob on January 6, 2009 at 55 years of age. Dear son of Millie and the late Fred. Much loved brother of Fred and wife Theresa, Paul and wife Toni, Mike and wife Louise, Dan and wife Colleen, Elizabeth and husband Rene Jolicoeur, Tom, Margaret and husband Duane Drouillard, Teresa and husband Kelly Bowles, James and wife Rosanna. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Through the years Bob had been employed as a welder. Bob was a man of few words, but his kind and gentle nature shone through to all who knew him well. He was a longtime volunteer with Cogeco Cable acting as one of the camera men covering various events. This was a pastime he thoroughly enjoyed. Bob was 100 plus Blood donor, and enjoyed working out, curling, working on the computer and watching TV. If you so desire, donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visiting Friday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE: prayers at 3 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. On Saturday family and friends are invited to meet at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (4401 Mt Royal Drive) after 10 a.m. for a funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
