Robert (Bob) Stull, 45 of Norwell, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 18, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife Kerri, and his four children Kyle, Reanne, Jacob and Lindsay, his parents Deb and Dan Traknis, his brother Brandon and his wife Kristen, his brother and sister in law, Jeanne and David, his brother in law, Chris DePari, his mother in law, Jan DePari and his nieces and nephew. Bob was the son-in-law of the late Greg DePari. Bob will also be forever remembered by extended family members and many dear friends. Bob was born in Quincy, MA on February 15, 1974, grew up primarily in Marshfield, Mass. but his family decided to move to Fort Fair Field, Maine where he ultimately graduated high school. Bob worked in the carpentry union and for some other location construction companies throughout his career. Bob was a dedicated husband and father first and foremost. He treasured his wife and children and embraced every moment with them. He had the hug of a teddy bear and always had a smile on his face. Bob brought laughter and love to all that he knew and he did his best to enjoy every day, he had an infectious personality. He had tremendous respect for the military and all that served, especially his family members. Bob was an active volunteer in the childrens baseball and football teams and spent endless hours at the fields helping in any way that he could. He was an avid sports fan that had a passion for his Boston sports teams, he also enjoyed grilling, taking a drive, grocery shopping with Kerri, days at the lake in NH with family and friends, playing in the Norwell Men's Softball league, block parties in their neighborhood but primarily anytime with his family is what he treasured most. Family and friends invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, March 24, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rte. 123, near state police barracks), Norwell Center. Chuck and I can't be with you for the services but we will see you in June. Bob lived the American dream, which doesn't mean a mansion or fast cars or millions. Over the years we've watched this beautiful family work hard to achieve what I feel is the best American dream: A close family in a lovely home and neighborhood, involved with their children and still finding time to help others like Ma . Love y'all

I went to elementary school with Bobby...Eames Way in Marshfield...we were best friends during that time. We spent a lot of time together...I often slept over w Bobby at Deb's when they lived in Marshfield off rte139 and he came to my cottage in NH a few times. We also played little league on the Pirates. I played 3rd base and pitcher, Bobby played 1st base. I'm sad to say I haven't seen or talked to him after around 6th grade but I remember it all vividly.
Bobby was a great friend. I can honestly say that he was the type of friend that you rarely find...he genuinely cared about you and others. You always felt valued by him and could tell he was happy to see you. I really enjoyed and feel fortunate for the time I spent with him.
Bobby was also incredibly nice and pleasant to other kids. He never, ever said or did anything "mean" to anyone. In other words, he wasn't like other kids. He was just a special person.
As I mentioned earlier, I lost touch with Bobby more than 30 years ago. That bothers me but what's worse is that I live in Scituate on the Norwell line and spend 90% of my days in Norwell...I just now learned he and his family have lived there also. I cant believe....ugh...I cant believe we were around each other probably a lot. I never knew it !
I cant imagine how hard his passing must be to his family. I wish you all peace and comfort.
Bobby, thank you for being the greatest friend a kid could have.
