Robert Sukalich Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 26, 2025.
Robert Michael "Bob" Sukalich, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2025, at the age of 66. Bob was the devoted husband of Lynelle for 45 years and father of Katie and Steve.

Bob was born in Milwaukee and grew up in Wauwatosa. He attended Pius XI High School, where he met Lynelle, and then Marquette University where he received his degree in Accounting. He began his career as an auditor at Touche Ross before spending many years as CFO at Versa Technologies and Safway Services. Some might say he was an accountant to the core, as his attention to detail was second to none.

Bob will be remembered as an incredibly kind, loyal, and generous person, always the first to step up to support his family, friends, and community.

In his spare time, Bob was an avid fisherman, golfer, and Wisconsin sports fan. He took annual fishing trips to Canada with his son and other relatives, and had memorable fishing adventures in Costa Rica and Alaska. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed visiting national parks and other beautiful places.

He is survived by his wife and best friend Lynelle, children Katie (John) and Steve, brother Paul (Colleen), sister Patty, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Jennie Sukalich.

An informal Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, September 21 from 12-2:30 p.m. at Western Lakes Golf Club, W287 N1963 Oakton Rd, Pewaukee, WI. In lieu of flowers, Bob's family would welcome donations to The Parkinson's Foundation or Literacy Services of Wisconsin.
