Robert Lewis Thomas Jr. Retired Senior Police Officer; passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020, at the age of 53. Senior Police Officer Robert L. Thomas Jr. joined the Houston Police Department on June 11, 1990, Academy Class #140. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Northeast, Southwest and Vice Divisions until his retirement on February 23, 2019.

He was an amazing man and a great friend. I lost touch with him years ago and just discovered he has passed. I will never forget him or his incredible kindness. He was so proud of his Corvettes and he took great care of his parents.
