Robert Tisdale Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 8, 2025.
Germantown - Robert was born in Ballenger, Texas but moved at an early age with his family to San Angelo, Texas where he grew up. His childhood was filled with family, fun and friends. Always making the best of his situation, Robert participated in Texas football by becoming a cheerleader - and what a cheerleader he was! Head cheerleader for the Texas State champions and instructor for Herkimer and NCA.

He graduated from college and taught school for one year in Eagle Pass, Texas before getting a master's degree. When his friend, Jeff Webb, asked him to leave Herkimer and start their own company, UCA, he leaped at the chance and started a new adventure. They moved to Memphis, Tennessee as it was the closest airport to their first camp at Ole Miss. They all worked hard but loved every minute and became like family to one another.

Robert married Terinell relatively late in life, but as the saying goes, "We were not perfect, but we were perfect for each other." We were truly Team Tisdale. He loved his wife, child, sisters, parents, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends - and he loved them well. In return, he was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

He will never be replaced and still brightens our hearts, even in his absence. We love you. We miss you. We will see you soon. Thank you for all you brought into our lives.

The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Grace Evangelical Church.

Robert was one of the kindest man I´ve ever known! I´m so heartbroken but thankful my daughters met him Easter Sunday! He always complimented and had something happy to say to brighten my day. His life changed when he met his incredible wife! So sorry to hear of the death of Robert! Prayers to Tereneil and his family and Uca family!
