Robert Lyle "Rob" Webb III

Robert Lyle Webb III, known affectionately as Rob, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Aldie, Virginia. Born on June 25, 1968, in Massachusetts, he was a man deeply committed to doing the right thing and making those around him proud.

Rob's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his community. He leaves behind his loving wife, Deborah Webb, his son, Robert Lyle Webb IV, his daughter, Allison Gough, and his cherished grandchildren, Collin Webb Gough and Breah Gough. He was a guiding force in the lives of his family, embodying the roles of a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, or "PawPaw," as he was fondly called.

An alumnus of the University of Massachusetts, Rob carried the values of his education throughout his life, applying them in every role he undertook. His career was complemented by a rich personal life filled with hobbies such as running, reminiscing about his Delta Chai days, and his favorite pastime, spending time with his family and friends. A passionate sports fan, Rob loved cheering for the New England teams, especially in the company of his son.

Rob was also a friend to many, with relationships that often felt more like family. His circle included cherished friends such as Uncle Tom, Hong, Noah, Sham, and their families, who all held a special place in his heart.

Rob's commitment to his community extended even into his final days, spent under the compassionate care of the Adler Hospice facility. A funeral service will be held at Saint John Neumann in Reston, VA, from 11 am to 12 noon, followed by burial at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home at 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032. The Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home in Fairfax, VA, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
