Robert White Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert White on November 4th 2016 at the Montreal Neurological Hospital (MNH). Predeceased by his parents Florence and Benjamin White and sister Beryl. He leaves to mourn his life partner Linda Bernier, his loving children Shawn and Sabrina, brother William, sister-in-law Deborah (Roy) nephews Nathan and Garrett. He will be sadly missed by many. A special thank you for the compassionate care from the Montreal Neurological Hospital 4 south. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to Westend Sports Association or the Montreal Neurological Hospital. Funeral Visitation will take place at Feron's Funeral Home 2630 Notre-Dame O, Montréal QC, H3J-1N7
November 9th, 2:00-5:00 and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral Service November 10th 11:00 am Union United Church 3007 Delisle, Montréal, QC H4C 1M8

About ten years ago Bob came to speak to our students at Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School in Brampton, Ontario, about the role of trade unions in a democracy and the importance of social justice by citizens. He rocked the place, had the students and adults mesmerized. It was a powerful presentation, a wonderful day. He was a compassionate, loyal and tough Canadian. Our school community offers its condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Our prayers and condolensces to Bob's family. He did so much for his community and the city of Montreal as a whole. He had so much energy and drive. He did the work of five people at once. He always made the kids in his community a priority. He did so many things for people that were never publicized. It is hard to believe that he is gone. It was an honour to be considered his friend.
