I´ve been gone from Holly Springs for many years, but I kept up with Robert and Sharon by seeing his posts on Facebook. They were always so sweet: Robert as the music director and Sharon as my Sunday School teacher years ago. In many ways, they were the face of First Baptist Church of Holly Springs. Thank you, dear Robert, for including me in your birthdays and anniversaries and ski trips throughout the years. I never saw you two without a smile.
My memory is the first day you brought the guitar up to the podium. It was a good surprise; you were a class act full of love and the joy of the Lord. Thank you

ROBERT WILLIAMS, our friend and faith brother...
"I will meet you in the morning by the bright riverside
When all sorrows has drifted away
I'll be standin' at the portals when the gates open wide
At the close of life's long weary day
I'll meet you in the morning with a 'How do you do?'
And we'll sit down by the river and when rapture of the plane is renewed
You'll know me in the morning by the smile that I wear
When I meet you in the morning, in the city that is built four square
I'll meet you in the morning with a 'How do you do?'
And we'll sit down by the river and when rapture of the plane is renewed
You'll know me in the morning by the smile that I wear
When I meet you in the morning, in the city that is built four square
When I meet you in the morning, in the city that is built four square."

It with my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences that I prayerfully submit, to Sharon and family, on the passing of my neighbor, Robert. Both were kind souls, to be in the midst of. Often Robert would pass me and my fur babies, on his daily jog. As President of the Meadowbrook Park Neighborhood Association, I would also like, to extend prayers, from other neighbors who interacted with him, along his jogging trailing.

Ronnie and I love you and are in constant prayer for you. The meaning of our friendship is difficult to put into words. Seeing you when we would come home to Holly Springs to visit always made things seem more peaceful and the hugs from you both seemed to heal. Seeing you always made me happy inside as I quietly prayed for easier times for us all. Thank you for always loving us and always greeting Ronnie and I with loving arms.

We all loved Robert, Aunt Susie and Uncle Herald and will always love you, Sharon. We cherish all the times we have spent with all of you in Memphis and in Indiana. Life is very unexpected, but it is all in God's plan and He will take us through. Robert is greatly missed, but we are blessed by the life he lived and the wonderful memories we have shared. Much love to you, Sharon.

So sorry for your loss Sharon. I know Robert was devoted to three main things in life, God, You and his church.

Condolences to you, sweet Sharon, as I remember the years at Cherokee Baptist and the times of going out to sing especially at Christmas. To this day the duet of Robert and Carey singing "O Holy Night" will always be a very blessed memory and was the the best. It was so good to see you both visit Kirby Woods before I moved to East Tennessee. I know Robert is now singing in the presence of our precious Lord and Savior, his parents and many, many friends. I love dear Sister and praying for you and my home church is praying for you too. God bless you and give you comfort. Nell Brown
