Sincere Condolences to Mrs. Williamson and Family. I was so sad to hear about Mr Bob, He was my High School band and choir director which I participated in both. He was a wonderful teacher to us all here at Matthews Mo High School. I have never forgotten how encouraging and nice he was. It is a Blessing to hear of all the many wonderful things he has done through these years in teaching and Preaching the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am Blessed to have known him. May God Bless you all. My prayers and Love are with you all.

Brother Bob was a good friend and a talented musician. He was the leader of the church orchestra at Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama back in the day, and a man of many talents with a great love for God's people and a passion for The Lord's Work. In the Lord's time we will sit and reminisce.

Bob was a wonderful person. He did so much for our choir & church (Wesley United Methodist Church in Sikeston, MO) in the late '60s-early '70s. During his time there as choir director our church & youth choir grew in leaps & bounds. He brought joy to everyone.

My pleasant memories of our first quartet piano player and Christian friend. From over 50 years ago I still remember his reluctance to play a secular Christmas song at one of our events.

Janet and Family,
I'm thinking of you and remembering you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Some of my fondest memories are of the times when Bob was our handbell director at WBC. Those were some really great days. May God strengthen and comfort you all now and in the days ahead.

Anyone that attended Matthews High School will always remember Mr. Williamson. Even if you couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, he made you feel like you could do it and you DID do it because you wanted to make him proud.

Bro. Bob was the best youth music director I've ever known! He taught me to sing almost 40 yrs. ago at FBC Kenner and started me on a lifetime of singing for the Lord. I am so sorry to hear of his passing but praise the Lord that he is enjoying being in his Savior's very presence.

to Mrs. Williamson and family- so thankful to read the testimony and tribute of your Godly husband and father. Mr. Williamson was my high school band/choral teacher at Matthews Missouri from 1969-1972ish. He was a wonderful teacher; plus he took personal interest to challenge each student in this small southeast Missouri high school to be our very best! We won awards! Mr. Williamson even taught us how to perform at football half-time and we didn't even have a football team at our small high school!! He was THE BEST!!
Very Thankful to know that your family grieves with HOPE of eternity and being reunited again one day. Sincerely, Stacey Vann Constant

Mr. Williamson as we called him respectfully in our school in Matthews, MO. He was such a great leader. He was our band and choir director. He loved music and made us love it as well. For a school of our size we had a big band and choir. It was never the same after he left our school. No other director could compare or compete with him. He was awesome. The students loved and respected him. I know heaven will be glad to have him and he'll be missed here on earth. Prayers for the family and friends through their grief.

Janet and family,
So sad to hear of Bob's passing.. Lifting all of you as you go through this difficult time.. The Homegoing Celebration in Heaven must be wonderful, but it doesn't help the pain of loved ones left behind just now.. Praise God he's not in pain anymore! Thankfully, we know we'll see him again!
Sending you and the girls hugs!
Love ya,
Ann and Steve Smith
