Robert Wilson Obituary
Robert Henry Wilson, 86, of Spring City, formerly of West Chester, died Friday, March 2, at the Southeastern Veterans Center, Spring City, Pa. He was the husband of Gladys Louise (Cooke) Wilson. They were married 62 years last March 10. Born in Bethlehem, on September 20, 1920, he was a son of the late Horace W. and Meta C. (Haskins) Wilson. He worked as a Manufacturers Rep at Robert H. Wilson and Associates. Robert served in the Navy as a Naval Aviator in squadron VF 51 in World War II. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Linda C. Shearer of Leesburg, Va., Janet L. wife of James McDowell of Downingtown; sons, Thomas C. husband of Kate Wilson of Zionsville.; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Services: Private at the convenience of the family. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to S.E. PA Veterans Center-Activities Fund, 1 Veterans Drive, Spring City, PA 19475.
