Roberta Burns Obituary
July 8, 1954 - August 19, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roberta "Dawn" Burns, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who left us on August 19, 2025, at the age of 71. Dawn was a loving mother to Melissa (Adrian) Gerry, John (Vanessa) Burns III, Eric (Corrie) Burns, Amanda Schwemmer (Jerry Simmons), Michael (Sarah) Schwemmer Jr., and Kelly (Karl) Stevens. Her legacy lives on through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Dawn had a passion for lighthouses and angels, symbols of her guiding spirit and the light she brought into the lives of those around her. A woman of deep faith, she found strength and comfort in her Christian beliefs, which guided her through her life's many challenges.
She was preceded in death by her loving father, Marcus "Mike" Weaver; her mother, Una Weaver; her brother, David Weaver; and her sister, Sherry Provenson. Her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew and loved her.
Dawn's unwavering love for her family and friends, combined with her warm spirit, has left an indelible mark on our hearts. We will cherish the memories of her and find solace in knowing that she is now at peace. The family's wishes for privacy during this difficult time are appreciated.
