I met Roberta when she was teaching at Bee County college in Alice Texas. We became friends and spent lots of time together. I enjoyed when I came back to Alice, I would visit her when she lived in Orange Grove. We would visit with her mom when she was alive and listened to her mom play the piano. Lots of fine memories I had with Bert . My heart saddens to know she has just recently passed away. I just moved back to Texas and was going to make a trip to Alice to findher. I know that one day we will see each other again and have an eternity to spend with our loved ones.Roberta was a very special lady and loved her family very much. You will all be in my prayers

I really admired her. She told me the true meaning of J-O-Y.... She lived it everyday. Now she's back with Leon. She will be missed. I miss her already.

I was so blessed to have Mrs. C as my choir teacher at First Baptist Church in the 1970's. I loved her way of making life about song and always sharing her kindness and love with all the Caroleers! I know she is with Joni and rest of her loved ones now in God's care.
