Roberta "Bonnie" Finke

Roberta "Bonnie" Finke, nee Franks, aged 74, passed away on February 6, 2024, in Orlando, FL. Born on April 6, 1949, in New York, New York, Bonnie was a woman of remarkable resilience and strength, whose life was a testament to her indomitable spirit.

Bonnie is lovingly remembered by her family: her daughter Laurie Finke, whom she considered not just a child but a best friend; her son Larry Finke; her stepdaughter Elizabeth Willows; and her brother Michael Franks. She will also be dearly missed by her cousins Cindy, Jennie, Brian, and Jason Gimelstob, as well as her devoted friends Veronica and Dean Schwartz and Paula Goldstein. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and June Franks, and her brother David Franks.

Bonnie's academic achievements included her graduation from Prospect Hill Country Day School, followed by her earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bloomfield College and a Master of Arts from U.C. Berkeley. Professionally, Bonnie's career spanned various fields, including insurance benefits, human resources, and real estate, culminating in her co-ownership of an interior design showroom before her well-deserved retirement.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony to honor and remember Bonnie will be scheduled at a future date.
