Age 70, of South Fayette Twp., formerly of Upper St. Clair Twp., on July 4, 2016. Beloved wife for 49 years of Fred Rapone, Sr.; proud mother of Fred, Jr. (Beth), of Pittsburgh, and David (Erica), of Woodbridge, VA; devoted grandmother to Domenick, Aiden, Cameron, Maxwell, Madelyn, Caitlin, and Preston; sister of Alice Bullard, Edward Dodson, Jr. and the late Roseanne Barnes; she also is survived by her sister-in-law, Laura Stizza, of Fountain Hills, AZ; many nieces and nephews, friends, and her beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Pepper. Born September 19, 1945, in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Regina "Jean" (Jakubowicz) Dodson. Bobbie was a 1962 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Shadyside, and prior to marriage, worked at Sears in East Liberty. While raising her sons and keeping the family home, Bobbie worked as a bookkeeper at her family's business, Break-n-Eat Industrial Catering in Etna, PA. Later she would make lasting friendships with her co-workers at Horne's, later Lazarus and Macy's, at South Hills Village. Bobbie's favorite holiday was Christmas, the time of year that best displayed her exceptional crafting, decorating, present-wrapping, cooking, and baking skills. Bobbie was a longtime member of St. Louise de Marillac Church in Upper St. Clair Twp., where she was active in the Women's Guild. She and Fred were both active in their homeowner's association, enjoyed traveling, were enthusiastic supporters of their grandchildren's many activities, and had been longtime volunteers with Meals on Wheels in Peters Twp. Friends welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211 on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at St. Louise DeMarillac, 320 McMurray Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
