COLON, Roberto Jr. “June”; age 38, passed away peacefully March 9, 2016 at his residence in Lincoln Park, MI. He was born March 22, 1977 in Pontiac, MI. Survived by his parents, Maria Nieves and Roberto colon; beloved nephew of the late Juan Javier Perez. Husband of Angela Colon. June truly lived life to the fullest. He was the life of the party. He loved his family, children and close friends. Brother of Gonzalo and Jennifer Romero, Vivian and Jannet Nieves, Nelson Degro, Almondo Sorianos, Yolanda Colon. Beloved father of Felicia “Chris” Avis, Monica, Alexis, roberto Colon Jr., roberto Colon Jr., Juna, Roberto III, Judith colon. Step-children, Kristin rodriguez, Troy Kentros II. Beloved uncle of Nisia and Gonzalo Romero and Paul Saldana Jr. and Frank Odgen. Roberto has a host of cousins, aunts, nieces, nephews and very special friends, Kimara Pierce, and Loon Smith. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., with funeral service at 2 p.m. Mr. Colon, Jr. will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
