Roberto Gonzalez Obituary
Roberto or "Pappy" as he was known to family was born in Yorktown, Texas. He served in the United States Marines in the Korean War. He also was a migrant worker before settling his family in Miami Florida in 1960. He worked in plastic manufacturing and often worked more than one job to care for his family.
Pappy was as sharp as they come and taught his kids to work hard. He loved to golf and fish and often took us boys fishing. After moving to Dunnellon Florida, he would fish daily, taking the canoe out for a spin on the lake.
Pappy is also survived by 16 grandchildren and at least 12 great grandkids,
He will be missed by all.

In this life you embraced him with your tender love;
deliver Roberto now from every evil and bid him eternal rest.
The old order has passed away: welcome Roberto into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain, but fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.

On behalf of Roberto's sisters, Beatrice Banda, Gloria Glover, Diana Juarez and brother Israel Gonzlaez we extent our condolences to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was our beloved brother and he will be greatly missed along with his wife Sylvia. His sisters had the opportunity to be able to go and visit both of them and those memories and are grateful to have been able to share our love for each other.
