Robin Bennett Obituary
A proud graduate of Mardela High School, Robin remained rooted in the Eastern Shore community throughout her life. She was known for her big heart and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Whether caring for her grandchildren or spending time with close friends, Robin brought warmth and laughter into every room she entered.
Robin found joy in simple pleasures-singing karaoke with enthusiasm, playing online bingo with excitement, and sharing her love through baking and cooking. Her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of home-cooked meals and sweet treats prepared with care. She cherished time spent at the beach and enjoyed crabbing along the shorelines of Maryland.
Family was at the center of Robin's world. She is survived by her devoted husband Franklin Bennett; her daughter Christina Bounds; sisters Dawn Jones and Billie Jo Willoughby; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends who were touched by her kindness and humor.
Robin was preceded in death by her father William Bounds; mother Shirley James; grandparents, stepfather Roscoe "Cody" James; daughter Whitney Bennett; and stepdaughter Michelle Fothergill.
A memorial service to honor Robin's life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, located at 501 Bi State Blvd #2316 in Delmar, Maryland.
Robin's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those she loved so dearly.
