Robin DAY Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 17, 2017 at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Robin Day of Washington, ON in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Williams) whom he married July 9, 1966. Dear father Charlene Day-Knarr and partner Wade Belanger of Waterloo. Sadly missed by his grandsons Keegan and Daron. Survived by his brother Arthur and wife Helena and sister Ailene Deaville all of Toronto and by his niece and 2 great-nieces. Robin will be missed by his four legged friends Alfie, Summer and Candi. Robin was predeceased by his parents William Day and the former Margaret Campbell and by his mother and father-in-law Elsie and Albert Williams. Relatives and Friends may call for memorial visitation at the Glendinning Funeral Home 40 William St. Plattsville on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Memorial Service will be conducted at Peace United Church, Plattsville on January 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Reginal Cancer Centre or Westies in Need (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family. Promoting the Kitchener Waterloo Aquarium Society at a hobby show

Robin was a good friend and mentor to me when we were both members of the Kitchener Waterloo Aquarium Society. Just last week, I was reading some of his articles in the club publication .from 1989 His articles were titled Catfish and Guppies(an occasional dissertation on the world of fish as I see it) and were interesting and easy to read. Those who had the opportunity too work with Robin are richer for the experience. Thank you friend.
