Rocco, you were one of kindest people I have ever known. You are not forgotten. I know you were a great light in a time of darkness for many people. May you rest in peace.

Rocco, while at St. Francis Hospital was a light in the darkest time of my life. He was a grad student working as a psych. aid. There is so much I could say. I loved that man at a time I hated every thing. This is so sad.

Rocco will forever live in my heart. We shared 2 years of our lives and he was a blessing to me and my family in so many ways. I cherish our memories and will forever remember his sense of humor, his integrity, his love for the outdoors, how he valued genuine people and his relationships with them, his expressiveness and also his considerate ways. I miss him so very much!

Our entire family was so very fortunate to have experienced Rocco. His professionalism, insight, understanding nature, compassion and wonderful sense of humor were exceptional. He always had a listening ear and excellent advice regardless of how busy he was. He touched our lives in so many ways. Rocco had a unique way of educating and informing us and making our goals obtainable. We only wish that we could have helped him in his time of need as much as he helped us. We miss him and will forever be grateful for his exceptional guidance. Our sincere heartfelt sympathy is with his wonderful family, colleagues, especially those we have had the pleasure of knowing at UPC, friends and other families like ours who have greatly benefited from Rocco's care. Rocco and I shared many laughter filled conversations outside of our office building here in Detroit. Every other day I looked forward to our pow-wows about what was going on in both of our lives. It is still beyond hard to believe that he is no longer with us. My deepest sympathy and prayers to his family.

Rocco was a person of high integrity, and exceptional clinical skill. Rocco's work at Wayne State was very successful; he touched numerous lives of individuals he treated. He understood the complications and struggles of persons experiencing a psychosis. He touched the lives of the people he supervised in passing on his knowledge and techniques for working with individuals, and he touched those of us he worked with as colleagues through his passion, sincerity, humor, and concern about each of us. I truly enjoyed working with Rocco, I will continue to miss him.

My deepest sympathy To Rocky & Jim on the loss of a son and a brother! Roco John was definately a credit to his parents as demonstated by his sucess in his chosen career.
He was also a good friend to me and my parents (Al & Fran).
