Rodney Troy Chandler

Rodney Troy Chandler, 52, of Wadsworth Avenue, Waverly, Ohio, died 4:44 p.m. Saturday, 20 January 2018 at his home.
Rodney was born 24 March 1965 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of Estel Chandler and wife Sandra of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Kitty (Rider) Chandler of Waverly, Ohio.
Surviving are a daughter, Deanna Lynn Newman of Baltimore, Ohio, two brothers, Tommy Lee Chandler and wife Tabby of Waverly, Ohio, and Bryan Scott Chandler and wife Jennifer of Piketon, Ohio, three uncles, Charles Rider and wife Lavon of Piketon, Ohio, Randy Rider and wife Connie of Piketon, Ohio, and Eugene Chandler, and five aunts, Maxine McCann and husband Doug of Piketon, Ohio, Joyce Montgomery and husband Herman Jr. of Waverly, Ohio, Dot Remy and husband Vernie of Circleville, Ohio, Carolyn Sparks and husband Jay of Stockdale, Ohio, and Francie Rogers and husband Dwight of Waverly, Ohio.
Rodney was preceded in death by five uncles, Robert Rider, Danny Rider, Anthony Rider, Dencil Chandler, and Willis Chandler, two aunts, Darlene Quillen and Joyce Chandler, and grandparents, Charlie and Opal Rider and Lodie and Envy Chandler.
Rodney was a former Lumber Grader.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, 24 January 2018 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Minister William Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
Family will receive friends at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, 24 January 2018.
