Rodney S Fritze (Catholic) of Kingman, AZ (originally from Chicago, IL) passed away in his home surrounded by love from his wife, Mary, his beloved dog, Zara, as well as both his children and eldest granddaughter, on March 30th, 2025. He leaves behind his 2 children, Rodney J (Margaret) and Jennifer A (Andre Jennings) as well as his precious grandsons Justyn and Joshua and granddaughters Olivia, Penelope and Phoebe.

Rodney was a veteran of the Vietnam War and forever proud of his time as a Marine (hooah). Son of John and Bernice, he was preceded in death by both of his parents. He also leaves behind siblings Terry and Donna (Carmen Adams).

After spending the majority of his life in Chicago, he enjoyed his retirement in sunny Arizona. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who took great pride in all his children and grandchildren's accomplishments, including his ICU nurse granddaughter.

He was deeply loved and will be forever missed and remembered .

So sorry for your loss, Rod was a special person. We remember fondly our time with Mary and Rod when we were at our Midgo house. He is now with Our Lord in heaven, no more pain and at peace. He will be missed.
