Rebecca,
I am so sorry for your loss. Rod and I were close friends in high school. In fact I was with him in that mustard yellow jeep one night when we hit some black ice and rolled it. We had many fun trips together waterskiing, camping,(Rod used to talk in his sleep, you could carry on a conversation with him), hunting four wheeling, "buzz bombing". You name it Rod and I probably did it together. I remember we used to swim a lot at the Iverson's. I think Robyn lived by you? We lost touch after he went on his mission then got married, but I often thought about him and remembered all the good times we had together.
God Bless you and your family,
Karl Otteson

Rebecca ( becky )I am sorry to hear that Rod had to leave you. It is a feeling that I understand all too well. Know that it will get easier in time. Trust in the Lord and he will help you through what you will be going through. If you ever need a listening ear you can give me a call anytime. Prayers are with you . Mark Ellett

Rebecca, I was shocked to read of Rod's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. It is a blessing that we have the knowledge of that sweet reunion to come and that he is not gone forever. God bless you and your sweet family. EvaMae

Rebecca, and every single one of your cute family, reading this obituary makes it hard to feel sad! What a wonderful life, full of love and happiness, surrounded by those you love. One thing that I always admired was that Rod seemed to be one of those people who knew it was important to cherish all the time he had. What an amazing lesson to leave behind. I have watched (and commented on) the fact that I have always seen Rebecca smiling. Through good times and bad. That kind of positivity is simply amazing. You are an incredible family and we love you all so much. -Janiese and Larry Frank and family <3
