Rodney Stewart Salisbury, NC - The relatives and friends of Mr. Rodney Parish Stewart are invited to attend his Funeral Services on Saturday, July 21, 2018, 11:00 am in New Cannon Baptist Church, 46 Cannon Street, Charleston, SC. Rev. Elijah Alston, Pastor; Interment will follow in Monrovia Cemetery. visitation will be held today at the mortuary from 7-8pm. Mr. Stewart will lie in state at the church 10 am Saturday until the hour of service. Mr. Stewart leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Jeda Wilson; mother, Barbara Washington (Rodney); father, Earl Huggins; grandmother, Ms. Frances Murray; siblings, Rodney Vanderhost, Terrell Washington and Corey Washington; nieces, nephews and cousins. I'm Sorry U Had To Go Out The Way U Did Friend But I Know As U Do....GOD HAS A PLAN!! You Were Chosen To Become Absent From The Body To Be Present With the Lord For Many Reasons Beyond What We Can See....We feel Your Absence...We feel The Void... I am at a loss of words in finding out yesterday Paris was called home to be w/our father. He was extremely focused in getting a second chance at achieving his goals and being a great father. Paris was humble, focused, loyal & a private person who was always full of laughs. I missed the homegoing but we will see each other again fam. You will always live on in our hearts. Love u always!
