Roger DAVEY

DAVEY, Roger George. Passed away suddenly at the age of sixty-seven on Sunday, June 20, 2004 in Chester, N.Y. where he had been living for the past twenty-one years. A retired Research Scientist for International Paper, he previously worked for Domtar Research Center in Senneville, Quebec. The son of Edward and Lilian Lowe Davey, he was born on May 10, 1937 in Sale, county of Chester, England. Survivors include his wife Helen Davey and his daughters: Lisa Davey (Ian Dalling) of Ottawa, and Julie Davey (Daniel Bain) of Montreal. He is also survived by his three grandchildren: Evan Dalling, Drew and Emma Bain, as well as his brother, Keith Davey of England and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at the Lippincott Funeral Home Inc., 92 Main St. in Chester, N.Y. (845-469-4134).
