Roger E. EARLE

Age 76 passed away peacefully on Thursday morning. He is preceded in death by his parents Clara and Earl Abrahamson and survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Karen Earle, Roseville, MN; son Richard Earle of Ypsilanti, MI (wife Laura, children Carolynn and David); daughter Teresa Kubas of Austin, MN (husband Steve, children Isaac and Seanna); and daughter Lisa Mahal of Lino Lakes, MN (husband Graham, children Sadie and Sylvia).Roger is a 1957 graduate of Murray High school; earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Business from University of Minnesota in 1961 and MBA from U of M Carlson School of Management in 1965. He worked 33 years in marketing research for George A. Hormel company in Austin, MN. After retirement in 1998, he enjoyed living and boating on Forest Lake, wintering in Texas, spending time with his children and grandchildren, outings with his confirmation group of friends and attending Eagle Brook Church services and breakfast with his cousin Gary and wife Carol. He also enjoyed many hobbies including computers, photography, bird watching, woodworking, gardening, fishing, and wood carving. Funeral services 12PM Saturday, January 2 at Roseville Memorial Chapel (2245 Hamline Ave. N 651-631-2727) with a visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA.org), Shoe Away Hunger, Friends of Africa Education (FOAE).
