Roger Ewing Obituary

Roger Ewing

Roger Ewing passed away at his home in Houston, TX on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents, Happy and Mary Ewing and his grandson, Jake Ewing. Roger leaves behind his daughter, Jessica Ewing Dunlap and husband Chris; his son, Brad Ewing and wife Kasey; his grandchildren, Drew, Jackson, Maci and Grey and his special friends Lydia Flowers Weldon, Lea Weldon Ellsworth, Jackie and Joel Powers, Mike Witham and caregiver Shelene Smith.

Roger was an avid LSU fan and loved everything purple and gold. He also loved the New Orleans Saints, win or lose. Roger was born and lived many years in Bossier City, LA. In his retirement years, Roger lived in Rockwall, Ft. Worth and finally Houston, TX where he enjoyed boating, fishing and playing golf.

We are thankful for the hope of heaven where bodies are made new. It's never too late to say yes to Jesus. The offer of eternal life is open to all who ask. Roger, you will be missed.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was such a good actor on gun smoke, I searched for him on Google and found out he had passed, now he is resting in peace.
