Roger Flores Obituary
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Prayer service: 6 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Chapel.
Dutch was born Sept. 19, 1979, in Fort Worth to Senon and Irene Flores. He valued life and his family, living it to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his father, Senon Flores Sr., in 1994.
Survivors: Wife, Celeste Flores; daughter, Alexis Asia Flores; son, Roger Senon Flores Jr.; mother, Irene Luna Flores; grandmothers, Maria Herrera and Thomasa Flores; sister, Sylvia Thomasa Flores; brothers, Senon Flores Jr., Oscar Flores, Senon III Flores, Daniel Flores, Darryl Flores and Felipe Sanchez; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Hello Mijo, I still can not except that you are gone. Me and your tio keep remembering the last day that you spent with us and told us that you were so tired. I keep that smile of yours and that dimpel on your face in my mind. I keep hearing your laugh. Me and tio went to del rio eairler this year and the first thing we both said was this is the bottle that we would have brought back for Dutchie. You are the only nephew that would always call me when you were on the road and tell me "I love you tia" Mijo I went to visit your grave on your birthday and guess what I spent $5.00 on flowers. You know that is my tradition no more than $5.00. I have so many things that I would like to talk to you about only I can't. You are now in heaven a better place and you are not tired any more. We all miss you. Even carmela. (oops, I mean Maria)

Dear Cousin, I just wanted to drop you a few lines I really hope all is good and I’m hoping you are up there watching over each one of us. Man I can’t get over the things that have occurred down here since your passing it’s so unbelievable. It really makes me sad you are no longer here. I see the pain wearing my mom down because she misses you. You always came around and anytime you needed something she either gave it to you or tried her best to be able to give you that of what you asked for. Whenever no mater what hour of the day it was wether it be late night or early morning. Now your gone and all I see is sadness riding on my moms shoulder (she was more then just your aunt) The Love she gave you was just as strong as the love she gives me, basically I am writing to ask you to please watch over her as well if you could. I know she miss you soo much. Take care.

My deepest condolences go to the all the Flores Family, especially Irene & Oscar. I first met Dutch when he was 13 through my younger brother. Then we crossed paths again through your brother Oscar, that's when I also met Celeste. I'm very sorry for your loss. You all will be in my prayers!

Dutch and I went Elder middle school together and then I ended up marrying his older brother Senon Flores some years later. With that our family grew closer when Senon and I decided to have kids; Joseph Seth Flores, Abigael Miranda Flores and baby Adam Angel Flores. Joseph is at your house every day because Alexis and Joseph go to school together so he cried pretty bad when I had to tell him. As for Abigeal, she loves Alexis. Dutch wanted the girls to have their birthday's together since they were a day apart. I am thankful Dutch was able to see and hold his new nephew, baby Adam Angel Flores. Dutch called me a couple days before he had past to tell me he had forgot about Joseph at the bus stop and I dont remember what I said that made him say "Josie, don't be stupid I love Jospeh! That's my brother's kid! You are family and if the kids need something I am there!" He prove that to me so many times. This made me realize family is family and no one comes before that. We are all here to help each other in good times and bad. So I say this to you Dutch, "I will truely miss you and those pretty green eyes!" I tell Celeste now, "every time you look at bob you will see Dutch." Dutch will live on through his kids Alexis and Bob. When I lost my brother Adam Lopez in 04 I see and feel the same pain my husband is going through right now and when see my mother-in-law (Nanio) hurt I remember holding my mom. My husband Senon and my mother-in-law Irene know I can relate to loosing a brother. It's hard and the pain never goes away, but as the years pass by your heart WILL grow stronger.

Dutch I will always remember everything you did for me. I new you since you were ten yrs old. I will see you again one day . You were always there for my boys Hammy, Loney's and Elijah whenever they needed you Hammy considered you his Second father. Elijah loved to visit you when he was over there with Simon or when I visited you . my blessings go out to Nannio, Oscar, Boom, Chiva, Simon, Celeste, Bob and Lexi I will always keep a candle burning in your memory. Roger's mom is my cousin and I have not seen you in a while.
Irene there are no words that will take away the pain but may God comfort you. We alway's want to go before our children and I know it is very difficult for someone to lose a child. Our children may be adults but they are still our babies.

I WENT TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WITH ROGER AND WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT HE WAS A VERY FUNNY GUY, ALEAYS CRACKING WISE JOKES SO HE STOOD OUT A LOT. HE WILL BE MISSED. I'm very sorry for the Flores's Family loss, but he will not be alone. He is up there with his father and his brother and best friend Sergio (Roach). He will always be in our hearts and memories. We will pray for his family and want them to know that if they ever need anything they should let us know because he and his family were there through my brother's passing and my family owes them a lot and we thank them very much.

I had not seen Dutch since he was about 9 or 10 years old but when I was informed of his passing all those memories came flooding back. What a character he was back then, always had that beautiful smile on him.

Dutch I know has we growed older we separted from each other, but when ever I needed you I could always count on you. You were my little brother and I will never forget that. When God took you he took a piece of my heart. I want you to safe a place for me because we will see each other soon. Jay Jay and Jessica lost some one very special in there lives belive or not you were like a second dad to them.
