Roger Kolseth Obituary
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 6, 1931 to Knut Hilmer and Esther Kolseth. Upon returning home from being stationed in Germany during the Korean War, he met the love of his life, Louise. They had their first date in January 1954 at the Norge ski jumping competitions and were later married on May 19, 1956 sharing their lives and love for 67 blessed years together.
Roger excelled in his chosen vocation as an electrician and he had a passion for anything to do with cars. But what always came first was his family, his Lutheran faith and his many lifelong friends, especially his best friend since childhood Robert Rosone.
Roger is survived by his beloved sister Janice Kotas and brother Dale Kolseth; his daughters Wendi (Bill) Steinforth and Jeri (Kevin) Rutherford; grandchildren Roger and Austin Steinforth and Matt (Loni) Rutherford, Kyle and Kalyn Rutherford; great-granddaughter Willow and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald Kolseth.
