He inspired my husband to play Santa since 2003. It was always a pleasure talking to him or working with him at the Mall. So glad we made the trip over to Ohio several years ago and spent much of the day with them. We have a picture of the four of us framed in our bedroom and it makes us happy every time we see it. He presented us with one of his handmade baskets at the end of the visit "St. Matthew 11-28 Come unto me and I will give you rest." He made that 3-2-18. We will treasure this basket always and the memories that he gave us. If there was ever a biography of his whole life, we would be first in line to purchase it.

What a wonderful, kind soul. So positive at all times. He and Alma raised an awesome son, Roger! I loved the few years I got to help him with getting into Santa and Mrs. Claus. He loved that! He will be missed by all! Linda Valentino
