Roger Moberg Obituary
Roger Manfred Moberg Sr. 74, of Etlan, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at his residence.
He was born January 22, 1935, in East Orange, New Jersey, the son of the late Sigurd Manfred Moberg and Beda Rawstrom Moberg.
Mr. Moberg was a retired bridge inspector for the Virginia Department of Transportation in Fairfax for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Merelyn D. Moberg of Etlan; his children, Connie M. Aylor and her husband, E.J., of Etlan, Kelly A. Moberg of Berryville, Roger M. Moberg Jr. and his wife, Meg, of Ashland, Michael E. Moberg of Etlan; a sister, Joan M. Falls and her husband, Bob, of Etlan; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009, at Etlan Cemetery conducted by the Reverend Dan Yowell.
The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at the Preddy Funeral Home in Madison.
Memorial contributions may be made to F.T. Baptist Church, P.O. Box 62, Sperryville, VA 22740 or the Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.

We are soor sorry to learn of cousin, Roger's death. My memories of him go back to E. Orange and Pomptom Plains, places from his childhood.
