GREENSBORO - Mr. Roger A. Richards, 74, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2006, at his home.
Funeral services will be held in Delaware at a later date.
Roger spent his military career in the U.S. Army, retired from US Air after 35 years of service, was a huge NASCAR fan, and loved the Washington Redskins.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marlene Richards; son, Jeffery Richards (Debra) of Lorton, Va.; son, Mark Richards of Gainesville, Va.; daughter, Debra Jones, of Kissimmee, Fla.; son, Steven Richards (Eun) of Centreville, Va.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
George Brothers Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Grandma, I just wanted to tell you how much i Love you and How wonderful Pop-Pop was he would always tell me how much he loved me he always made sure i was doing well. He was a very kind, Loving man to everyone... we have so many wonderful memories of him that will live on. He was the WORLDS GREATEST POP-POP!! Love you both Very much
