Dear Matt, Mrs. Stichter and Family,

Our hearts are filled with sorrow. Although we did not know Mr. Stichter personally, he must have been a wonderful man to raise a son like Matt, whom we hold dear.

Rog and I worked for the gas company in 1964. I never forgot him, a wild and crazy guy. We hit the viaduct at Mound and Kirkwood in a boom truck but amazingly were treated and released. A doctor happened along and took us to the hospital. I lost track of him when he went into the Navy. I was Navy also and also born in 1943. I am sorry he is gone.
