Roger E. Wieskamp, 77, of Panama, NE, died Friday, July 25th, 2014 at Homestead Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 31st, 1937 to Henry and Elsie (Wissink) Wieskamp in Holland, NE. He worked for Woodman Accident and Life Co. / Assurity for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife Norma, sister Mary Ann (husband Delmar) Doeschot of Firth, NE. Son Scott (wife Kathi) Wieskamp of Panama, NE. Stepsons Lloyd (wife Maria) King of Lincoln, NE and Danny (wife Kim) King of Sturgis, MI. Grandchildren Nick and Chris Wieskamp, John King, Brad King, Brian (wife Jaclyn) King, Kevin King, Shane Moutray, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Evelyn Doeschot.
Family will receive friends from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, July 28th at Holland Reformed Church, 96th & Panama Rd. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 29th at Holland Reformed. Memorials suggested to Norris School District Education Foundation.

Scott - Pam an I are very sad to hear of Rog's passing. Lots of great times, working together and playing together. He was a special guy and we'll treasure the time we had with him. All the best.

So sorry to read about Roger. He was a wonderful man, who I was blessed in meeting while working for him at Woodmen back in the day. He was a Great mentor/friend and leader, we got to know each other very well and kept in touch outside of work. As well, my family was blessed to live across the street from Scott & Kathi-therefore got to see Rog when he came over to visit. He leaves behind lots of memories for his family and friends.
