LABRECHE - Roland (Rollie) Labreche, 1936 2008, much loved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend went home to his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, January 26, 2008. Dad accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour a long time before his passing, and is now in his eternal home with our Heavenly Father. Roland was predeceased by one son, Noe Roland Labreche in 1958; his parents, Elphage and Alma Labreche. Roland is survived by his loving children, Debbie Labreche, Saskatoon, Joanne (John) Laslo, Balcarres, Cathy (Bill) Rugg, Saskatoon, Wayne (Anita) Labreche, Edmonton, Rita Graham, Woodstock, ON, and Kim (Chris) Parr, Saskatoon; seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; step sons, George (Sherry) Fedoroff, Saskatoon, Rodney and Rodger Flahr, Regina; two brothers: Roger (Betty) Labreche, Calgary and Claude (Sue) Labreche, Ottawa; two sisters: Armande Leslie, Salmon Arm, BC and Rita RussellBaker, White Rock, BC; also his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Iron working was Dad's passion and he was a member of Local 771 for 46 years. He always missed the boys after he was forced to retire due to health reasons. Dad lived in Lebret for ten years after his parents passing and spent his final last five months in Balcarres. The family wish to thank Dr. Offiah and all those special people who helped so much in Dad's final weeks, you know who you are! Heartfelt gratitude to Mom, Grandpa, Bev, Jill, Nancy and The Power's you were all amazing! The Funeral Service will be held in the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lebret, SK, on Saturday, February, 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. John Power officiating with interment of cremated remains in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery at a later date. If friends so desire contributions to the Balcarres Integrated Care Centre Memorial Fund Box 340, Balcarres, SK, SOG OCO may be tokens of remembrance.
