My sweet nephew, I can't believe this. I am deeply saddened by your departure. I miss hearing your voice, calling me too check in on your favorite auntie, laughing with you, and watching you grow into the man you were meant to become. I miss our video calls and I'm so sad you didn't get a chance to make it to Jamari's games like you wanted. I'll forever cherish the memory of our last call. I remember when I first laid eyes on you, you were this goofy, rambunctious kid who was unafraid of anything! I loved you immediately and I know you felt the same. I hope you know how proud of you that I am. And that I know you loved those close to you more than the world! And we love you just the same. Rest peacefully my forever baby, I love you forever

The first time I got to meet Roman he was skateboarding like a pro in this tiny little boy body. And that smile.... I told his Mom, wow. He is so special and talented. Fly high Roman.

Roman came into my life when he was 3. He was this beautiful child with bright eyes, perfectly curly brown hair, he was fearless, fun loving and had a great love for his Mama, Tara. He remained that way, in my eyes, until October 27th, 2024. Roman, you will never ever be forgotten. Every year on my son´s birthday, I will celebrate yours as well since you two shared 12/19. You were your mamas pride and joy, everyone knew it but more importantly, you knew it and knew that you were loved unconditionally. Your bright eyes and bright smile will forever be etched in my heart and soul.

Roman Edward Hajime Miller was my boyfriend. He was my best friend and someone I knew I could trust him with my life. My first ever memory of Roman was meeting him in middle school and getting his phone number. I texted him and told him to expect me to be around forever no matter what. Here we are all these years later and my heart only grew more love for him. My favorite memory of Roman couldn´t be chosen. But one I love is me having a bad few days and he showed up to my door with flowers, snacks, and snacks for my daughter. He had such a huge heart and felt the pain of others. I will miss him so much
