Roman Miller Obituary

In Loving Memory of Roman Miller

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Son, Roman Miller. A beloved son, brother, and friend, who was taken from us far too soon on October 27, 2024, at the age of 18. Roman was caring, funny, and loyal beyond measure. He approached life with a big heart and a deep love for his family and friends.

Born on December 19, 2005, in Fairfield, CA, Roman brought warmth and laughter into our lives. He developed a passion for football early on and enjoyed the camaraderie of playing, but his real pride and joy came from spending time with those closest to him. Roman loved music and loved being in the studio, making his music. Recently, Roman began working full-time as a security officer-a role he found pride in as he looked forward to his future and began setting his dreams in motion.

Roman's love for his family and friends was boundless. Known for his humor, warmth, and readiness to support those he cared for, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Roman's loyalty and kindness defined him, and he will be missed deeply by all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.

He is survived by his parents, EdwardJay (Nicole) and his Mother, Tara Kane; his siblings, Bobby, Alyssa, Sydney, and Dominic; and an enormous circle of extended family and friends who carry forward his memory. As we grieve his passing, we are grateful for the countless moments and memories that he gifted us.

A celebration of Roman's life will be held on November 23rd, at 11 a.m., at St. John's Episcopal Church in Roseville. All who knew and loved Roman are invited to join us in remembering and honoring him.

Roman will be forever missed and never forgotten. He lives on through the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the loyalty he showed to those closest to him.

My sweet nephew, I can't believe this. I am deeply saddened by your departure. I miss hearing your voice, calling me too check in on your favorite auntie, laughing with you, and watching you grow into the man you were meant to become. I miss our video calls and I'm so sad you didn't get a chance to make it to Jamari's games like you wanted. I'll forever cherish the memory of our last call. I remember when I first laid eyes on you, you were this goofy, rambunctious kid who was unafraid of anything! I loved you immediately and I know you felt the same. I hope you know how proud of you that I am. And that I know you loved those close to you more than the world! And we love you just the same. Rest peacefully my forever baby, I love you forever

The first time I got to meet Roman he was skateboarding like a pro in this tiny little boy body. And that smile.... I told his Mom, wow. He is so special and talented. Fly high Roman.

Roman came into my life when he was 3. He was this beautiful child with bright eyes, perfectly curly brown hair, he was fearless, fun loving and had a great love for his Mama, Tara. He remained that way, in my eyes, until October 27th, 2024. Roman, you will never ever be forgotten. Every year on my son´s birthday, I will celebrate yours as well since you two shared 12/19. You were your mamas pride and joy, everyone knew it but more importantly, you knew it and knew that you were loved unconditionally. Your bright eyes and bright smile will forever be etched in my heart and soul.

Roman Edward Hajime Miller was my boyfriend. He was my best friend and someone I knew I could trust him with my life. My first ever memory of Roman was meeting him in middle school and getting his phone number. I texted him and told him to expect me to be around forever no matter what. Here we are all these years later and my heart only grew more love for him. My favorite memory of Roman couldn´t be chosen. But one I love is me having a bad few days and he showed up to my door with flowers, snacks, and snacks for my daughter. He had such a huge heart and felt the pain of others. I will miss him so much
