RON BELK Obituary
Ron was born May 14, 1969, in Harbor City, CA, and died November 1, 2014, in Fontana, CA. Ron graduated from Fontana High School in 1987, and immediately enrolled in the Dental Technology Institute (DTI) in Orange, CA. After earning diplomas at DTI in Full/Partial Dentures, Ceramics, Crown & Bridge and Chrome Processing, he worked as a dental laboratory technician for Arrowhead International in California and Utah.
Ron began working for Patterson Dental in 1994, where he started as a Sales Representative and called on dental laboratories in his assigned territory. After a short time, he added dental offices to his client list and ultimately earned the trust and respect of many dentists in South Orange County. At the time of his death, he had worked for Patterson for over 20 years.
In 1996, Ron married Maureen Hauber in Temecula, CA and they made their first home in Rancho Cucamonga. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, Hannah Marie, in October, 2000. In 2001, the family moved to South Orange County and settled in the foothill community of Trabuco Canyon. In May 2003, they welcomed their son, Ryan Joseph.
Ron enjoyed riding quads in the deserts, fishing, particularly in Alaska, and was also a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He was known for his great sense of humor, his big heart and his steadfast willingness to help others. Ron is survived by his wife of 18 years, Maureen Belk; daughter, Hannah, 14; and son, Ryan, 11. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Hughes; his grandmother, Dorothy Otis; his father, Howard B. Belk; his grandfather, Howard A. Belk; sisters, Michelle Martinez and Rebecca Keeton; brother, Rick Belk; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services for Ron will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014, at Presbyterian Church of The Master, 26051 Marguerite Pkwy, Mission Viejo, CA, 92692. Visitation 2-3pm, Funeral Service 3-4.30pm and followed by a buffet reception from 4:30-7.30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a college fund established for the Belk children.

Ron was my cherished brother-in-law and I am so saddened by his untimely death. He was a kind and funny man who put my sister and their children as his first priority. I will keep all of them in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, dear Ron.

Ron was so nice, kind, polite, thoughtful and caring. I had the pleasure of knowing him in the dental community for over 10 years. I will never forget when my brother died, Ron was so kind to me. My thoughts and Prayers are with his family. He touched so many lives. He will always be loved and missed.

Ron was legendary in the dental community in Southern Orange County. I heard great things about him from friends and family in the dental community before I had the privlege of working with and meeting him shortly after he got married. He was so excited to share pictures of his beautiful wife and knew he had found the love of his life. Ron was probebly the only sales rep that I enjoyed coming in to the offices i worked in. He touched my life in a positive way in the short time I knew him. I cannot imagine the pain and loss those who loved him are feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with you .
