Ron CIUBOTARU Obituary
After a courageous battle, on Friday, February 7, 2014, surrounded by his family in New York. Beloved husband of Dr. Lisa Weinstock. Devoted father of Lauren, and Ben. Loving son of Sylvia and the late Isaac Ciubotaru, and son-in-law of Dr. John and Dr. Connie Weinstock. Cherished brother and brother-in- law of Mendy Ciubotaru, Willie and Gail (Cohn) Ciubotaru. Brother-in-law of Kenny and Jeanne Weinstock. Adored uncle of Gillian, Noah, Erin, Chloe, Simon, and Claire. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends, colleagues and patients. Funeral service and burial on Monday, February 10, 2014 in New York. Shiva at 11 Sawgrass Drive, Katonah, New York. 10536. In lieu of gifts or flowers, contributions in Ron's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

Having just found out today I am deeply saddened to hear of Dr. C's passing. I am forever grateful to have been a patient for such a caring doctor and person. On behalf of my family I send our most heartfelt condolences to everyone and send my sincere appreciation and thanks to his family and friends for sharing such a great man with the rest of us. God bless you all, and RIP Dr. C.

I worked with Dr. Ciubotaru @ St. Barnabas. Sorry to learn about his death. He was a very dedicated and compassionate professional. He was also the person who persuaded me to undergo a hip replacement. He was a great advocate for thne Social Work Department of which I was a member. He will be missed.

I'm so saddened to hear that Dr. Ciubotaru had passed away. He is in God's loving arms now and I pray that Lisa, Lauren & Ben can begin to overcome their grief one day at a time.

My deepest condolences go out to the family! Last time I saw Dr. Ciubotaru was at St. Barnabas 3 years ago. I was a patient of his for over 15 years. I called today to make an appointment only to hear the terrible news! He was not only a great Dr. he was a compassionate soul! Deeply saddened...

To the Ciubotaru Family:
I first met Ronnie when we were 15- years-old. He was a charmer-good looking, athletic, smart, and such a nice guy. Although we did not keep in touch in later years I am absolutely confident that he was an incredible family man and a superb doctor. May you all be blessed with good health and be comfoted by the knowledge that Ron was a wonderful person. May his memory be a blessing to all those who loved him.
