“The cowboy has always been a dying breed, but he takes his dying slowly, perched upon his steed. The prairie is his prison, his church, his wife, if you take away his sky you take away his life. Yet where does he go when the ranges all have closed, does he retire to his bunkhouses, in depressed repose. No, he climbs back in that saddle, if just to bide his time, for the cowboy knows, a good death is hard to find.”

Leanne, Darryl and Karlie,
My heart goes out to the three of you. He was such a wonderful, husband and father. Time will ease your sorrow so that grief passes into warm memories. Take care...you are in my thoughts.

Leanne, Darryl and Karlie -
Ron s passing was such a surprise to us. Ron was always willing to take our calls for computer advice. He helped us pick out new lap tops and made my system faster. He was always generous with his time. He was a real joy to have as a friend. He used to come over for coffee when he got his vehicle fixed and he would always drink his coffee in a blue mug. He said that was his favorite one, because it reminded him of the one he had at home. Now that he has gone, I have moved his favorite cup into my china cabinet. Rons special blue mug will be a special memory. He always had stories to tell and he was such a proud father! We will miss him. I feel so sad for you, his loss going to be so difficult. It is impossible to replace a man like Ron. Darryl is blessed to be his image.

Leanne, Darryl and Karlie - We shared many wonderful times in the 32 years since Ron became part of our family. One of my favourite times was many years ago when he taught me all about the band "Genesis" (before he went country). He bought me the album and it was my favourite for many years. I think of him every time I hear a Genesis song. You never know how important a moment is until it becomes a memory. He was a kind and gentle man. Ron's passing has left a hole in our hearts.
