Uncle Ron, I am so blessed to have been a part of your life. I always felt at home when I spent time with you and aunt Linda. There are not many who never gave up on me but you never did. I would not be where I am today without your love and support. I only hope to be half the parent to my children as you were to your own. You will be missed and loved forever by all who knew you. What a beautiful spirit our good Lord has recived. Until I see you again my dear, sweet, funny, charming uncle...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Atkinson family during this time. Things like this never come at good times and nobody really knows what to say when it happens. All I can say is that from what I've read and seen Ron was loved SO much and he raised some AMAZING children! I went to school with Donnie and am friends with Rosie, they are some of the kindest and sweetest people I've ever met. He had something to do with that. I hope you can take some comfort that he is no longer in pain and he's in a better place. Selfishly he should be here with you, but he's now an angel forever by your sides. Big hugs to all of you!
